The Home Depot

At The Home Depot, I was hired for the first time to work exclusively on the UX/UI side of email design. Rather than focusing on sales as we do on the marketing side, the focus was always on the customer experience. It was quite a change for me! Every day I learned something new. It was fun to function more as a design consultant rather than being in the weeds with execution/production. I started with a consolidation project, which enabled THD’s Pro customer to receive a summary email during their shipping notification journey rather than individually triggered emails for each product at the various stages in shipping. Running QR on other projects was also a large part of my responsibilities.
I was also able to help out on the .com side on a variety of projects. One project was adding SMS optionality to the Out of Stock alert, which included updating the current state to the newer brand UI and ensuring clarity in the options for the customer.
