Nantucket, MA

For a long weekend

Nantucket is a complete dream. My friends and I were lucky enough to have a friend who’s parents have a house on the island so they were our hosts and guides! We got to eat a lot of meals at home with them or picnic-style so we didn’t eat out too much but the whole experience was fantastic.

Day 1: Boat day

Day 2: Beach day followed by drinks and dinner.

Day 3: Beach day with picnic and lobster meal at home

Day 4: Checking out Sconset.

Eating and Drinking

CRU - $16/glass wine bar with a fab view of the warf.

Club Car - Adorable spot, tapas-style with carafes of house wine. We really liked this meal!

The Juice Bar - Best Ice Cream on the island, a study carefully conducted by our friend who’s parents lived there. I got the strawberry and it was to die for.

The Chicken Box - This place was a true comedy for me. Its a dive bar with a honkey-tonk vibe… in Nantucket full of preppy 20-somethings.

The Gazebo - We came here several times. Its outdoor but covered, tv screens for the sports crowd and great drinks. The bad reviews talk about the bouncers and yeah… they’re aggressive but as long as you dont go at a busy time its fine.
