If your group is arriving together, my absolute #1 tip, above all, is to have your airport driver take you down the Strip on the way to your hotel, from the sign at the south end of Las Vegas Blvd to the north end by Circus Circus, then looping back to your hotel. If you hired a driver/van/limo they might even stop at the sign so yall can hop out and take a pic (or of course you can do this later). There is a small parking lot in the median where the sign lives. While driving down the strip, play a fun playlist! If you wanna go full tour guide, include some fun facts like: Every fountain in Vegas uses recycled water except the Venitian and they pay huge fines for it. Its all about the experience and its a real pump-up. Everyone gets so hyped and starstruck and like WOOHOO!

The Strip

You will not leave this area except to come and go from the airport even though its not even technically in the Las Vegas city limits haha.

Activities:

Generally book in down time/flexibility. That’s just kind of what I learned at my last bachelorette party.

There is a shuttle service that loops the strip if people want to explore other hotels. This can be a fun, chill thing to do after say, a long boozy brunch. Unless you’re going in the summer, the weather should be fine to walk between them as well. Other activity ideas include a spa moment, mani-pedis, pool time

----I’m sure your hotel has a free pool and I’m sure its fab. All the hotels are open carry so you can bring your DIY mix drink to the pool cause they dont know where it came from right? Could have been one of the casino bars! This is an easy to save money. Just hit a liquor store and stock up at the beginning of the trip like we did in college :) Or Drizly your order!

Super touristy, but on our literal tours we did the club night by hiring a party bus and it made photo stops starting from our hotel, to the Little White Wedding Chapel, to the Vegas sign, to the Venitian to see the fountain, then back to the hotel. It takes about 2 hrs door to door. Anyone who wanted to depart from the Venitian to a club could do so. This is an awesome option if you have people in your party who dont want to Club, but don’t want to be left out of the fun. I could dig up our bus company but since you’d probably need something smaller I’m not sure how useful it’d be. **HOT TIP: There is no bathroom at the Little White Wedding Chapel or the Vegas sign, although there are some bushes near the chapel. The best bet at a bathroom stop is to ask your driver to find a fast food place or wait till you get to the Venitian.

If someone else is paying, the helicopter tour of the Strip is a blast.

Food and things:

I’m sure one of the restaurants in your hotel is good. Just check out yelp. Most of the food in vegas is fine and convenience is key if anyone plans on wearing high heels.

Random tip: The Chandelier Lounge is very cool but if you dont want to pay for drinks you can just pop in for free, then hit a cheaper bar near by.

Lots of places have Happy Hour food if budget is a concern. There are convenience stores around but true grocery stores are not on the Strip.

This girl does a nice blog about boozy brunches her recs will be better than mine, since I was always working when I was here I never really did that. Wicked Spoon is the only one that rings a bell.

For Friday I would plan dinner at one of the hotel you’re staying in’s spots with drinks at a bar there as well, or back in the room more casually. Then Saturday I’d do an 11am bottomless buffet brunch, 1 casual afternoon activity then dinner followed by drinks at another casino. Dont forget to factor in ubers and stiletto walking pain! ***Speaking of Uber, last time I was in Vegas was August 2018 but they had a really specific system with the ride sharing and you have to go to specific pick up points, they cant just pick up anywhere on the strip. Dont forget to find you nearest point before calling the car! It can be surprisingly confusing and/or far.

Clubbing

My promoter’s name is Solomon (702-538-5344). He does not plan that far in advance but maybe text him to make sure he’s in town the weekend yall will be there. When you text him, tell him I sent you, the dates yall are looking for clubs and how many girls. If you have a specific spot maybe suggest that. I’d keep it brief though. He’s a middle aged bald guy but a good dude. He’s from Vegas! Hede my warning from above about logistical convenience, but the clubs I’ve been to/heard were fun include XS, the Marquee, Encore, Tao and Drai’s (that one’s a bit more ratchet). Oh and I love Chateau, but maybe that’s just the Francophile (and claustrophobe) in me. It just feels cool you know? Dont fuck with the bouncers though, one of the guys on my tour got his arm broken by security for being a smartass LOL.

Check out Groupon for stuff too! I’ve heard good things.
