Magazine Ad for JetBlue
This print magazine ad for JetBlue Airlines. Its straightforward, plays on famous writers jotting down initial ideas for a best-selling book on a humble napkin while being an interactive piece of media. The crossword puzzle concept is also getting a lot of traction on Instagram particularly with lifestyle brands posting themed crosswords tying to a blog post or astrological-esque chart messaging. I think this concept could be easily translated to Instagram Paid Ads, web banners, digital ads, print mailers or even real napkins for in-flight service.
Ecommerce Web Design for Carhartt
This is an ecommerce concept for Carhartt. The idea is that a single collection could be displayed as a laydown that scrolls, rather than the typical grid formation. The mouse hover pops up the quick details (black box). I would limit the usage to one season or one collection to keep the chaos in check with similar tones etc. There is also a more streamlined Filter menu to de-clutter the space. I think this could resonate well with the streetwear audience Carhartt has developed in recent years who would be the target for this kind of a limited drop.
Bachelorette Stickers
I had a blast designing these stickers for my dear friends’ join bachelor/ette party. I collected inspiration from Pinterest, from vintage ads, contemporary hotel logos and more. The final 4 I picked for their color, Miami aesthetic, and playful attitude, perfect for 30-year-olds under the sun for a weekend.
Spring Campaign for Boll and Branch
Boll and Branch is a luxury bedding and linen company based in New Jersey. This concept done at their request was for a spring campaign featuring their two most popular SKUs, the Signature Sheets Set and Signature Duvet Set. The only direction I was given was to “think outside the box” and “go wild” so I came up with a wildest dreams campaign theme. Since it was designed for spring I went with baby animals wearing clothes and added a vintage border in hues consistent with current trends. You may notice a difference in tone, that is due to a difference in color profile, both horizontal pieces are for a print mailer. The video on the left is the hero I shot and designed with Adobe Premier for the email and the GIF on the right was designed as a paid social story post. Theoretically the email hero could be repurposed and expanded to an Instagram Reel as well.
Instagram Reels - Lifestyle
Played local tourists at a food tour in Jackson Heights, Queens. Shot on my iPhone, cut in the Splice app.
An annual summer weekend in Nantucket, MA visiting a friend’s family. This IG Reel has its “American Girl” by Tom Petty removed due to Instagram copyright limitations.
Lunch at Carbone. For the price its a good thing I got a video out of it. Shot on my iPhone, cut in the Splice app.
Print Collection for Marie Bleu
This is a concepting project using encyclopedia-inspired illustrations on a variety of print mediums to create a cohesive line. I think the intricate lines are balanced with the high amount of white space.
