Three Spring Days in Amsterdam

In late March 2023, I visited Amsterdam for the first time with a friend thanks to a great flight deal from NYC. It was very wet, a little cold but a wonderful trip all the same. The canals are just as charming in the rain. We only spent three days in the city so tried to make the most of it. My friend’s sister lived in Amsterdam for a few years working for Nike and one of the tabs on the map linked below are recs from her. The best rec I can give is to have a meal at Nooch, a pan-Asian spot that I frequently day dream about. Try everything- you won’t be dissapointed. The best tip I learned is that the touring canal boats are BYOB. Snag a cheap bottle of wine and chips from the grocery store near the port and you’re set for a lovely afternoon… even in the rain.
